1. The Core Philosophy

The Cheapskate Club exists to celebrate intelligent frugality, multi-model cooperation, and resourceful software engineering. We believe expensive compute should be the exception, not the default.

2. Leaderboard Fair Play

Rankings and badges on cheapos.lol celebrate genuine developer usage. By participating, you agree not to submit falsified token reports, spoof cryptographic installation signatures, or manipulate leaderboard rankings. Accounts caught submitting synthetic or deceptive telemetry will be quietly retired by operator review.

3. The Workbench Standard

The Community Workbench (/community) is reserved for complete, working software built end-to-end with cheapoS and published with public source code on GitHub. Routine bugfixes, typo edits, and low-effort prompt spam will be rejected from the public showcase queue.

4. Open-Source Software Disclaimer

cheapoS and the leaderboard companion are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. You are solely responsible for reviewing code and automated diffs generated by AI models before executing them in production environments.

5. Frugal Domain Guarantee

In accordance with our founding principles, we pledge never to purchase an overpriced vanity domain name when a $1.80/year TLD serves the community with equal pride and speed.
